longwool sheepMy love for sheep and wool extends beyond my Shetlands, and I'm particularly drawn to some of the other older heritage breeds.  These breeds are also rich in history; and their wool is highly valued for its length, luster, and strength.

Unfortunately, today the population of many breeds of sheep is diminishing; and some fall in the 'watch' or 'rare' classification for global conservation.

The result is gorgeous rugs--with character, luster, irresistible curls and texture.  All natural colors (no dyes used)--white, blacks, greys, browns. Some exhibit a lot of variation in color from light to dark shades.  Some are solid in color; some have a rainbow of natural colors.

Every rug is unique.
